Colin Powell revealedMay 23, 2005 00:00Former Secretary of State Colin Powell was caught red-handed today calling in to a liberal talk radio show while staying as a guest at the White House. A Secret Service agent who was listening to the "Randi Rhodes Show" broke into Secretary Powell's suite after hearing a mysterious caller refer to the President as "The Holy Texan Emperor." An unnamed source confirmed that this is a cabinet level code for President Bush. The Secretary was midway through bashing administration progress in Iraq when the agent interrupted. A red-faced Powell was escorted out of the White House by Secret Service, yelling "They made me lie to the U.N!" The official White House comment was that "Invited guests of the President are required to conform to the behavioral expectations of the Inner Circle. If you can't trust the Inner Circle, then whom can you trust?" When asked why a Secret Service agent was listening to the "Randi Rhodes Show," Scott McLellan's answer was "No comment."
